BEWARE OF THE REAPER
It’s aphotic and gloomy
Fog and mist in the waft
The Reaper seeks out
You must, RUN fast!
~~
Children beware of
His instrument of death
The Reapers long reach
Here to collect your head.
~~
He trolls the graveyard
Stay out at night
He wants to act
Looking for a fight!
~~
The shadows close in
You search for cover
Behind the headstone
You sit and blubber.
~~
Close your eyes
Pray with all your might
The Reaper won’t creep in
And take your life.
~~
His skull like face
Cloaks and Daggers
Razor sharp wings
He wants to STAB ya!
~~
Gliding through the air
The Reaper hunts
Hunts for a head
A head to dismember.
~~
So Beware,
Little ones
Beware of the Reaper

Nice poem, Michelle. This reminded me that when we were in Aix-en-Provence last year, I got a photo of a guy oblivious to death walking close behind: http://photoofthedayetc.com/2013/11/08/spooky-side-of-aix/

Well, I’m fairly new to this (giggle) because I’ve already visited a few of your friends, enjoyed what I read and decided to follow them. I don’t believe I mentioned you, but I clicked on their links that they left in your comment section. I’ll be sure to mention you in the future. 🙂
Thanks again Susie!!
