Good Morning my fellow bloggers... I have missed You!

It's been a while since my last post and I know I have not been keeping up with my e-mails.  Things have been really busy around here.  Back in June the tenants on the first floor finally moved out, however, they destroyed the apartment.  The woman was a cat hoarder!! Need I say more!! The entire place is being redone... From the ceilings to the floors.  I've never seen a place look and smell as bad as this did!  It was disgusting, to say the least!

AJ and I are doing most of the work, so we have been working non-stop down there.  By the end of the day, I have been too tired to even think about writing.  Suffering from chronic pain and working hard labor like this, tends to take a toll on me. I have just enough energy to keep up my daily chores and prepare dinner every night.

The apartment is coming along very nicely.  We have decided to move down to the first floor.  It will be easier on my legs, hips and feet and it will also be easier on our dog Ruby, who is getting up there in age.  It will be nice to have our own entry and the fact that my mom will be able to come over and visit, is a bonus!! She can't climb stairs.  Now a days she's confined to a wheelchair, pretty much 24/7...  She hasn't seen the inside of my place in over five years.  It will be a nice change for everyone.

Please note that I am not ignoring your posts and or e-mails! I actually miss reading your blogs.  I'm on a time crunch and need to have our new apartment ready and moved in by the first of January.  New tenants already signed a lease, for our present apartment.  Just so happens I know the girl.  We grew up in Franklin together and our parents used to be close.  It's a WIN-WIN all around!

I plan to be off the grid for another week or so but I promise to get back in to the swing of things and concentrate on my writing and catch up on yours.  Please don't forget about me!
