Dish with Mish

Bio: I consider myself to be a peaceful, honest, loving human being, with a big heart. I love sports, books, music, movies, meditation, arthritis yoga, cooking, writing, taking photographs and last but not least, my puff puff. Most of all, I love my family. I am a mom, daughter, sister, friend and confidant. I am not religious but very spiritual. I am on my journey to enlightenment, which has changed my life in more ways than one. I have been suffering from chronic pain, for many years now. Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia. I have chosen a holistic approach for treatment. My mom has suffered, for over 25 years, with RA and FM. The medications they have put her on, have destroyed her body. Not the way I want to end up in 20 years. My goal is to bring happiness, positivity, laughter and informative information to my peers. The things that I like and dislike will be up for discussion. I want this to be a place where you can come and feel good about what you see and read. If you're having a bad day, I hope my blog will put a smile on your face, ease the pain you may be going through and even learn a thing or two. I look forward to connecting with old friends and making some new ones. We can enjoy each others company, on this long journey we call life. Like I always say, "Have a Groovy day and remember to be kind to one another." PEACE OUT

Wow, so much of your bio sounded a lot like me. I’m NOT religious AT ALL – but hugely spiritual – and I can go from deep and heavy to a complete goofball – an absolute hippy who loves the word groovy, which you used. Very nice to meet you and your blog – thank you for visiting mine. πŸ™‚ ❀

Hi Michelle, thanks for stopping by today. Sounds like we have much in common. FM, chronic pain. I have RA like your mom. I’m also pursuing natural ways to treat the issues as I am very leery of allopathic remedies. Your poetry is very touching, poetry is a gift I do not have! πŸ˜‰

Amen, Sister!! Some people have not been tested or refuse to believe what someone with an “invisible” illness goes through. To get up each day, kvetch, laugh and try again tomorrow with honesty and kindness — those are the kind of people I can appreciate. Thank you so much for reading my blog!! All the Best to you!

Mishy, I don’t know if you’re still receiving notifications or not, but I’ve recently returned to WP after a 2+ year, pretty much catastrophic event (I’m hanging in there though). I came searching for you and noticed that you hadn’t posted either since 2015, and I immediately became concerned. I’m HOPING that you just lost interest in the site, or being online, or blogging in general, etc., but I still have concerns about your health and pain. If you do still get notifications from your blog, please try and reach me.

    Much love Mishy. Kimberly ❀
