THROWBACK THURSDAY

Reading through some old journals and I came across this poem,

Dated December 12, 2002

I wrote this when I worked at the sheriff’s office.

To A Code We Go

It’s a Code 99

The CO’s start to Run

There’s a fight in Seg

One white, one black

Some blood has been shed!

Make sure you wear gloves,

Your safety comes first

Take good mental notes

So your report will be clear

Be sure to lock your cuffs,

and clear your tiers

Pack up their property

Check all that is there

A grievance will be filed

If one things not there.
