No PAIN, Please & Thank you!

I refuse to let the PAIN I’m in today, have an effect on me.

I am determined to make the best out of what this day has to offer.

There is no doubt PAIN changes people. I know first hand that this is true.

However, focusing on all that is Good and Positive in my life and pushing all the Negative vibes and feelings OUT, makes a huge difference.

I BELIEVE in myself and self-healing.

What helps me do this, are the following three things…

This is my favorite wall in my office… Where I chant mantras, meditate and do yoga.

The whole feeling in this room, brings me comfort, joy and peace. I am very fortunate to have a huge support system, of friends and family. This is by far the best medicine anyone can ask for. It’s hard to go it alone my friends. If you know anyone who suffers from CHRONIC PAIN, please try to be understanding and helpful in any way possible. I’m sending gentle (((hugs))), to all my friends who suffer in PAIN.

The Birthday Boy – My Son

Twenty-four years ago today, my main man was born. My son Ricky is the most loving, respectful and considerate young man who I know. The courage he has shown in over coming many challenges and obstacles, is impressive to say the least. I couldn’t be more prouder of him, than I am right now. ANYONE, who is blessed to have him in their lives, would agree with me. He is the light of my life!

MISH’S MUSIC FRIDAY

I always loved the music from the 70’s. I’m a Disco fan! I still have the cassette tape of KC & The Sunshine Bands Greatest Hits.

I remember my mom had been in and out of the hospital (this one particular time) from Milford Hospital to UMASS Worcester, back and forth, for months. Every time I’d head out to see her, I would play this cassette. Some times alone and some times with my sister. I get mixed emotions when I hear one of their songs, however, I can’t help but get up and get my Groove on.

P.S. I loved the clothes back then!

I will not pretend that I don’t have pain today but it’s at a minimal rate. Surprising because the humidity levels are really HIGH. Instead I Am concentrating on what is important and worthy of ME and my attention!

I refuse to let any negative thoughts come in to play, on this hot, humid day. Instead I Am focusing on all that is good in my Life. I woke up this morning and have accomplished more than I had planned to. Set my goals for today and achieved them… Life is Wonderful my friends!
