I Smile In The Face Of Pain

Nothing can bring me down today!

Not even all this RAINY weather we’re having.

My body is achy and rigor but my heart is filled with so much love and happiness.

I can’t stop smiling because I feel so good INSIDE!

My Inner Being is truly content, regardless of how my vessel feels.

TODAY… I SMILE IN THE FACE OF PAIN

Rain Transfers Pain – Smile Anyways

RAIN TRANSFERS PAIN

My tailbone pulses

My hips crack

My knees buckle

My ankles snap

Pain launches down my neck

Into my shoulders

Through my elbows

Over my wrists

Into my fingers

Rain transfers pain

Remain in a rad frame

Stay calm and refrain

Be still

Let the pain sustain…

… and smile once again

She doesn’t understand

Clearly there’s a problem

When there’s no need to be

Try and enjoy life

Set yourself free.

Don’t dwell on your anger

Doesn’t look good on you

Instead

Old Journal Entries

I was going through old journals, notebooks and folders last night and I came across these two. I would like to share. The first page, I had a copy of this hanging on my refrigerator for years. It’s only been seven years since I started on my Journey to Enlightenment but apparently from the date, I was heading in this direction long ago!

This next poem, I wrote for my son when he was Fourteen years old.

My son, now Twenty-Four, is the Light of my Life!

Feelin’ HAPPY!

“I’m a – hot air balloon that can go to space.” ~P.W.~

Flying high on life, on this beautiful Friday evening. Although I’ve been in pain for most of this week (partly due to the rainy weather), my inner being is alive and well my friends. Spent the early evening outside with my dog Ruby, listening to the birds chirp, the dirt bikes traveling down the Millville Lock Trail and the neighborhood kids playing ball. All music to my ears.
